Growing up as a second generation of World Champions, Valerie Kearns 
has lived and breathed horses her entire life. Her father, Ken Eppers, has had multiple World Champion titles ranging from Western Pleasure to Reining. He now specializes in reining horses and lives in Krum, Texas. Valerie’s mother, Dianne Eppers, also has had multiple World Champions and was named AQHA Horseman of the Year in 2010. Dianne is currently the Executive Director of NSBA and lives in Grayslake, IL. Growing up in a family business that produced numerous Congress and World Champions, Valerie can’t imagine doing anything else but carrying on the family tradition.
Valerie began showing when she was 3 years old,. Her very successful youth career includes a Reserve World Championship, numerous Congress Champions as well as multiple High Point titles. She ended her youth career by winning the AQHA
All-Around High Point title. A title her mother, Dianne Eppers, also won which made them the first mother-daughter to claim this title. In the past 20 years of training and instructing, Valerie and her customers have earned multiple Congress and World Champions. Several have earned high point titles and even an All-Around Amateur at the AQHA World Show.
Her daughter, Nya - 10 years old, has also been showing since the age of 3. This year at the 2011 Congress she earned her first Congress Champion in the Small Fry Horsemanship. She seems to be carrying on the family tradition as well.
Valerie Kearns Show Horses specializes in Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Western Riding and Trail for all levels of competitors.
